1. Service Description

ComplyBuddy provides tax filing, regulatory compliance, and business registration services in India. Our services include but are not limited to GST registration and filing, Income Tax Return filing, company registration, ROC compliance, TDS filing, Digital Signature Certificates (DSC), trademark registration, and other business licenses.

2. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, complete, and timely information and documents required for your service
• Ensuring all information provided is truthful and legally correct
• Reviewing and approving any filings, applications, or submissions before they are submitted to government authorities
• Keeping your client portal credentials confidential
• Informing us promptly of any changes to your business or personal information
• Paying government fees, stamp duties, and our professional fees as agreed

3. Fees and Payments

• Our professional fees are as quoted on our website or as agreed via written communication.
• Government fees, stamp duty, and applicable GST (18%) are charged separately.
• Advance payment may be required before initiation of services, particularly where government fees must be paid upfront.
• Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store card or bank details.
• Once work has commenced, professional fees are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for details.

4. Timelines

Estimated timelines provided are indicative and subject to:

• Timely receipt of complete documents and information from the client
• Government processing times, portal availability, and technical issues beyond our control
• Verification or inspection requirements from government authorities

We are not liable for delays caused by government authorities or portal downtime.

5. Limitation of Liability

ComplyBuddy's liability is limited to the professional fees paid for the specific service. We are not responsible for:

• Penalties or interest arising from incorrect information provided by the client
• Decisions made by government authorities regarding your filings or applications
• Business losses, consequential or indirect damages
• Changes in laws or regulations that affect your filing after submission

6. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information. Your data is used solely to provide the requested services and is not shared with third parties except as required by law or for government filings made on your behalf.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on thecomplybuddy.com — including text, design, logos, and software — is the property of ComplyBuddy. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any part of this website without prior written permission.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Fail to make payments for services rendered
• Misuse or attempt to misuse the client portal

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Odisha, India. We encourage resolution through mutual discussion before any legal action.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
