We understand that plans can change. Please read our refund policy carefully before making a payment.
1. Professional Fees
Professional fees paid to ComplyBuddy are non-refundable once work has commenced. Work is considered to have commenced when:
- We have acknowledged your order and begun document review
- We have made a government portal application on your behalf
- Any research, drafting, or preparation work has been done for your case
2. Government Fees
Government fees are strictly non-refundable once paid to the relevant authority (GST portal, MCA, Trademark Office, etc.). These include:
- GST registration fees
- MCA filing fees (ROC, company registration)
- Trademark filing fees
- Stamp duty
- Any other government statutory fees
We will inform you before paying any government fees on your behalf.
3. Eligible Refunds
A full refund of professional fees may be issued if:
- You cancel the service within 24 hours of payment and work has not yet commenced
- We are unable to deliver the service due to reasons on our end
- A duplicate payment has been made (accidental double charge)
4. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds of professional fees may be considered at our discretion if:
- Work has commenced but is at an early stage and the client has a genuine reason for cancellation
- The service requested is partially completed and the remaining portion has not been started
Partial refund decisions will be communicated within 5 working days of the request.
5. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are non-refundable under any circumstances once initiated:
- DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) — once applied and issued
- Trademark search reports
- Tax filings submitted to the Income Tax / GST portal
- MCA/ROC filings once submitted
- Any service where government portal submission has been made
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at admin.complybuddy@gmail.com with subject: Refund Request — [Your Name]
- Include your payment reference number, date of payment, and reason for refund
- Our team will respond within 2 working days
- If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days via Razorpay
7. Payment Failures
If your payment fails but your account is debited, the amount is automatically reversed by Razorpay/your bank within 5–7 business days. If not reversed, contact us with your bank transaction reference and we will assist.
8. Service Warranty
If a filing is rejected by a government authority due to an error on our part (not due to incorrect information provided by you), we will re-file at no additional professional charge. This does not apply to rejections caused by government policy changes or additional information requirements from authorities.
